Beloved 11-Year-Old Actress Passes Away Following Multiple Cardiac Arrests

Child actress Millena Brandão, 11, tragically died after suffering 13 cardiac arrests following severe headaches. She was hospitalized in São Paulo, Brazil, and passed away on April 29. Doctors later found a 5 cm mass in her brain, but the exact cause of death remains unknown.

Her mother, Thays Brandão, says Millena had been misdiagnosed with dengue fever and treated inadequately despite ongoing symptoms like fatigue, fainting, and leg pain. She also questioned the lack of specialists and proper care at the hospitals they visited.

Millena starred in Netflix’s Sintonia and other Brazilian TV shows. Her sudden death has raised concerns about medical negligence.
