Final words of pilot who crashed flight with 150 passengers

A chilling new documentary explores the 2015 crash of Germanwings Flight 9525, when co-pilot Andreas Lubitz deliberately flew the plane into the French Alps, killing all 150 on board.

Lubitz locked the captain out of the cockpit and began a fatal descent. Black box audio captured the captain’s desperate attempts to re-enter and the passengers’ final screams.

Lubitz had hidden mental health issues and was deemed unfit to fly, but kept it from his employer. The crash remains one of aviation’s most haunting tragedies.
