Goldie Hawn, a Hollywood icon since 1969, was recently photographed by paparazzi while vacationing in a swimsuit—and the internet had plenty to say.
Some criticized her appearance and swimsuit choice, while others praised her confidence and grace at 78. One fan wrote, “I hope like HELL when I’m 78, I can stroll the beach in a bathing suit and not care what anyone thinks!”
Despite the mixed reactions, Hawn remains unfazed. She embraces aging, telling People, “It’s wonderful to know that you’re aging because that means you’re still on the planet, right?”
She’s also realistic about ageism in Hollywood but chooses positivity over frustration: “Anger doesn’t get you anywhere. It’s not productive.”
