Model Dies at 29 Amid Rumors and Family Denial

Model and TV star Kim Jong Suk, 29, died on June 4 in Hanam, South Korea, sparking rumors he took his own life after a dispute with his girlfriend. Reports claimed he jumped from a high-rise following an argument involving a broken glass bottle.

His family confirmed his death on June 6 but didn’t disclose details. His sister strongly denied assault rumors, blaming false online claims for their pain. She revealed Suk had been suffering from emotional and financial distress after falling victim to a devastating investment scam.

She clarified that while an argument occurred, there was no assault, and the broken bottle incident involved a friend trying to defuse tension. The family plans legal action against those spreading false information and will later release evidence to support their statements.
