Groin Skin Irritation & Ingrown Hairs

Groin irritation is common across all ages and genders due to the area’s warm, moist environment, making it prone to skin issues.

Ingrown Hairs
These happen when hairs grow back into the skin, causing red, itchy, pimple-like bumps. Sometimes they can get infected and form pus-filled lesions.

Causes

  • Shaving, waxing, or plucking

  • Tight clothing/friction

  • Curly or coarse hair

Symptoms

  • Red, pus-filled bumps

  • Itching and inflammation

Treatment

  • Warm compress

  • Exfoliate gently

  • Stop shaving until healed

  • See a dermatologist if severe
