Man Arrested After Scaling Treasury Fence Near White House

A man was arrested after climbing a fence at the U.S. Treasury building and leaving a suspicious bag nearby, prompting a bomb squad response. The object was later deemed non-threatening.

The suspect, linked to an outstanding warrant, was charged with unlawful entry and taken for medical evaluation.

The incident happened just hours after protests near the White House over Gaza aid, as President Trump, then abroad, promised more U.S. food assistance while criticizing the lack of international recognition.
