PELOSI INTERRUPTED BY HECKLERS CALLING HER “WAR CRIMINAL” AND “SAD OLD DRUNK” AT CUNY EVENT

During a Monday evening event at CUNY’s Graduate Center with economist Paul Krugman, Rep. Nancy Pelosi faced multiple interruptions from hecklers who aggressively targeted her. The protesters shouted at her, calling her a “war criminal” and a “sad old drunk,” repeatedly disrupting the discussion. Their criticism focused on her role in past foreign policy decisions, including the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, as well as alleged corruption and questionable political actions.

One heckler went further, accusing Pelosi of lying the country into war and causing widespread suffering, while also demanding answers about the Nord Stream incident and its impact on Germany’s energy supply. The interruptions occurred four times throughout the event, creating a tense and chaotic atmosphere, and leaving attendees and speakers alike visibly unsettled by the fierce public outburst.
