Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA’s founder, was shot Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University during the “American Comeback Tour.” Students fled as the shot rang out, and Kirk’s condition is currently unknown.
Political leaders, including Senators Mike Lee and Ashley Moody, JD Vance, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, have offered prayers and support. The FBI and local authorities are investigating, while California Gov. Gavin Newsom condemned the attack as “vile and reprehensible.”
