Trump Rips Countries Allowing ‘Open Borders’ During Fiery UN Speech

President Donald Trump delivered a nearly hour-long speech to the UN General Assembly, far exceeding the typical 15-minute limit. He criticized “open borders,” claiming nations were “going to hell” and accusing asylum seekers of repaying kindness with crime. Trump called the UN’s statements “empty” and questioned the effectiveness of the organization while urging an end to the “failed experiment of open borders.”

On Truth Social, Trump called the speech an honor and said it effectively highlighted issues of energy and migration, which he has long emphasized.
