NYC MAYORAL FRONTRUNNER MAMDANI BACKTRACKS ON CONTROVERSIAL PHRASE AMID JEWISH COMMUNITY CONCERNS

Far-left NYC mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani said he now “discourages” the phrase “globalize the intifada” after a rabbi explained it evokes memories of attacks on Jews in Israel. Previously, Mamdani did not police the language, saying intent differs from impact.

Mamdani, the leading Democratic Socialist candidate to replace Mayor Eric Adams, has also promoted government-run grocery stores and hosted a Brooklyn town hall with Bernie Sanders, who criticized Elon Musk’s wealth.
