LEGENDARY GENERAL HOSPITAL STAR DEAD AT 79 AFTER CANCER BATTLE

Tristan Rogers, best known as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital, has died at 79 after a battle with cancer. The Australian actor appeared in more than 1,400 episodes over four decades, becoming a beloved fixture of the soap opera.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini called his passing “heartbreaking,” praising Rogers as a “one-of-a-kind talent.” Beyond General Hospital, he starred in The Young and the Restless, won a Daytime Emmy for Studio City, and voiced Jake in The Rescuers Down Under. Fans and colleagues are mourning the loss of a soap legend.
