Farewell to a musical legend

After more than six decades of captivating audiences, legendary singer Johnny Mathis is retiring from touring at 89 due to age and memory issues. Best known for classics like Misty and Chances Are, he will conclude his Voice of Romance Tour with a final performance on May 18, 2025, in Englewood, New Jersey.

With 350 million records sold, Mathis’ remarkable career has earned him a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Though he’s stepping away from the stage, his legacy as The Voice of Romance will live on.
