Bon Jovi and Deep Purple icon passes away as grieving family shares heartfelt tribute.

Renowned rock album cover artist Ioannis Vasilopoulos, best known for his work with Bon Jovi and Deep Purple, has died at the age of 66.

Ioannis passed away on April 7, with his heartbroken family sharing the news through a touching obituary posted online.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ioannis, our beloved artist, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, who has journeyed to the great beyond,” the statement read.

The family expressed solace in knowing he is now reunited with his late parents and loved ones, adding that the widespread love for his life and work has brought them comfort.

“There were so many things Ioannis still wanted to do and countless new projects he was eager to share,” they continued.
