Growing Panic In New England As Another Body Surfaces — Police Address Serial Killer Concerns

Police have addressed growing fears of a “New England Serial Killer” after 12 deaths were reported across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island in four months. The most recent was 39-year-old Stephan Myers, found shot near a school in Taunton, Massachusetts.

While some bodies have been discovered in rivers, forests, or even a suitcase, law enforcement insists there’s no confirmed link between the cases. Authorities caution against spreading unverified claims online, warning that social media rumors could hinder investigations.

Though experts acknowledge the pattern is “curious,” officials say there’s no current evidence of a serial killer—only ongoing investigations.
