Fans Devastated by Heartbreaking Steve Martin Announcement

Comedy legend Steve Martin, known for SNL, Pink Panther, Father of the Bride, and more, has announced his retirement. Despite a late-career resurgence—including becoming a father at 67—Martin says he’s ready to step back after wrapping Only Murders in the Building, his hit Hulu series with Martin Short and Selena Gomez.

Now 78, Martin reflects on his journey with humor, saying, “At 75, there’s not a lot left to learn—just more mistakes.” With an Emmy nomination for his current role, he’s choosing to bow out on a high note after decades of iconic performances.
